Effective date: October 20, 2026
This policy explains what the ToHabit mobile app for Android and iOS ("the app") does with your information. It is published by Anjoylife (An Sy Tung), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The short version
- ToHabit has no account, no sign-in and no server. Nothing you enter leaves your phone.
- The app does not collect, send, sell or share personal data.
- There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking in the app.
- You can delete everything at any time by deleting your habits or uninstalling the app.
What the app stores on your device
To work, ToHabit saves the following only on your device:
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| The name you enter, and the name you give your buddy | To greet you and to label your buddy |
| Your habits: title, icon, amount, schedule and the days you marked as done | To show your plan, progress and calendar |
| Your choices: colour theme, selected buddy, reminder on/off and time, tick sound | To remember your settings |
| An unfinished habit draft | So you do not lose what you typed |
This information is kept in the app's private storage. It is not uploaded anywhere and we cannot see it.
Data the app does not collect
ToHabit does not collect your location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data, device advertising ID, or any usage statistics. The Android version does not even request the permission to use the internet, so it cannot send data over the network.
Permissions
| Permission | Platform | What it is used for |
|---|---|---|
| Notifications | Android, iOS | Daily reminders that you set. The app asks only when you turn reminders on. You can refuse and still use the app. |
| Receive boot completed | Android | To set your daily reminder again after the phone restarts. |
Reminders are created on your device. They are not push notifications and no server is involved.
Home-screen and lock-screen widgets
The widgets show your habits and let you tick today's tasks. They read the same on-device data as the app. On iOS the app shares a small copy of your habits with its widget through the device Keychain; that copy stays on your device. Widgets do not send anything off the device.
Backups
Your phone's own backup (for example iCloud Backup on iOS, or Android's device-to-device transfer) may include the app's data, depending on your device settings. That is controlled by you and by Apple or Google under their own policies. ToHabit does not run any backup service. If you uninstall the app and have no device backup, the data cannot be recovered.
Children
ToHabit is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Delete a habit inside the app to remove its schedule and progress.
- Uninstall the app to remove all of its data from your device.
- Turn off reminders in the app's Settings, or in your phone's notification settings.
Because we hold no copy of your data, we cannot access, export or delete it for you; everything is in your hands on your device.
Third parties
The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services. If you install the app through Google Play or the Apple App Store, those stores may collect their own information about your download under their own policies.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts to handle data differently, for example by adding an account or cloud sync, this page will be updated before that version is released and the effective date above will change.
